I have a question about the chameleon's sense of smell. We have cats in our house, not a problem, he doesn't seem to be bothered by them and they pretty much ignore his enclosure. My question is would it be ok to set a cat litter pan next to the chameleon enclosure? He's up high, of course, the pan would be on the floor. I wasn't sure if he would be able to smell the litter and get stressed because he would think a predator is near. Any one know? Thanks in advance.

Thats a nope. its not the "odor". Its the chemicals, clay powder, and ammonia(which said chemicals are trying to cover up).
Basically no chemicals around chams due to their lungs. No incense, no frabreeze, no perfume.
