chameleon safe wood

is maple wood safe for chameleons??? I recently de-barked few maple branches that I wanted to put in my veiled chameleons cage but a reptile store owner told me that some woods are toxic to chameleons, should I use willow instead, I know that's not toxic to chams.

Maple and other hard wood branches are ok. I prefer oak branches they hold up to the misting without rotting. Avoid wood with sticky sap (i.e. pine) or white sap (i.e. oleander deadly) or stone fruit trees (i.e. apricot or peach)
FlChams has a safe plant list that includes trees.
