Chameleon rubbing his "palm" on wet branch

So this is really weird to me because I've only witness this behavior a few times just recently. After a mist session, Kiddo(3 months male Veiled) starts to go on different branches he has and starts rubbing the branches with his rear feet like he's stroking them. This only happens after the mist when the branches are wet. Has this ever happen with anybody else?

He may be loosening the skin on his "soles" for shedding. I couldn't believe how thick that part was when it shed. That part has to probably one of the tougher areas to shed. But I'm just guessing. Have you ever noticed the bottoms of his feet shed?

Soles! Thanks for the correction! No I have never noticed the shed from his soles, only the top of his feet. The thing is how long can the shed from his soles take to shed? His most recent shedding was just about 2 weeks ago.

I have only seen mine shed the soles once, that I noticed. But the shedding skin was very thick and I remember thinking to myself that it had to be uncomfortable. It seems that my veiled is always shedding some part or other. He just finished his back and spikes and now I can see where his bottom half is less vibrant and ashy, along with the tail. That's probably the next "phase" of shedding.
