Chameleon not eating

I have had my juvenile veiled for about a month now and have not had any issues with him not eating before now. A week prior to this I saw him accidentally eat a small piece of stringy stuff from the fake vine I have in his enclosure. I hesitated to put it in there and now I know I shouldn’t have. I was concerned for a few days, but he still ate fine so I kind of brushed it off for a bit and now hes refusing to eat. I offered him crickets and worms, but he won’t eat either of them.

Another thing I have noticed that picked up around the same time. He has been climbing up the sides of the mesh constantly and sometimes will even hang directly below his basking lamp, which scares me. I’m afraid he could be compacted or something ? any ideas?

hmm yeah, that could be a problem. If he dosen't poop at all soon take him to the vet.
I set him one up earlier today because I want to get him a general check up anyway. The only spot they had open was for next Wednesday. Do you think he will be fine waiting for that long?

I mean maybe... I guess if it will do any harm it will be during the digestive system. I dont know how long that takes for chameleons. If it's the soonest you can do, then that's that.
