Chameleon not eating

Hi, I just got a veiled chameleon a week ago today and I'm having this issue. She's barely eating. The previous owner gave me superworms when I got her, he said I should make her open he mouth and force feed her. I've been trying to feed her normally but she's only eaten one superworm (by force feeding) since I first got her. I also put a few worms in her cage but she didn't eat them.

She drinks water ok but she hasn't been eating. Any help on how to get her to eat without force-feeding her would be great. Also any suggestions on what I should feed her would be great as well.

I also forgot to add she's 5 months old.

I'd try variation. Superworms actually arent good as a staple, but as a treat. I'd get a few hornworms (my cham normally finds them irresistable!) and put them on a branch within his sight. Chances are he'll snatch it up right away. I don't really agree with the force feeding thing either... chams do go on food strikes if they get bored with their food or whatever. Good luck!
