chameleon not eating properly

Hi hope someone can help

My chameleon is 2 years old. I spray him twice a day he has heat lamp and is still active walking around the tank

I have always put his food into a plastic cup for him and just lately replaced it for bigger cup as he seems to outgrown the smaller one.

he has stopped shooting his tonge to get his food and he places his tonge on it and grabs it with his mouth.

he also falls asleep when he goes into his cup sometimes.

Can anyone help with this?
