Hi there,
I have read that mites for chameleons are unlikely. I went to a show recently and bought a femal chameleon as a pet (no breeding aspirations at least for now). I will post a picture but I'm worried about mites bc unbeknownst to me at the show, the breeder I bought her from has a history which might have changed recently. However, I checked her out but could you tell me if this spot could be one of just pigment? I took a long look at her and noticed no white spots but she has one or two dark spots that could be suspect. She's a bit angry in the pic but I had to examine her. Can mites from chameleons cross species and attack a tegu? Please let me know.
Also, give me feedback on her please. Is she good nourishment wise? She's a panther chameleon.
