Chameleon Issues

My new baby chameleon is consinuasly opening its mouth and closing it making a poping noise, anyone know why he is doing this?>

URI (upper respiratory infection). It will need antibiotics (baytril) from a vet

Do you have it in a screened enclosure?

Sounds like an RI (respiratory infection) He will need a vet visit, culture and sensitivity test to see what kind of infection he has and which drug will work to cure that type of infection. You might find these links helpful.

yes he is in a screen cage, pretty big to but i just got him like 2 days ago from a local pet store

but when i did get him he was in a fill glass cage at the pet store i dont know how long he was actually in there, im guess due to his size he is still young hes only abut 2 inch atm

most def a RI respiratory infection and you will need a antibiotic from a vet, find your nearest exotic pet vet as RI wont fix its self

Ok thank you so much, i am really not wanting anything to happen to the little guy, just starting like he needs to be strong, but he is very active and moving around very well, so im going to make some calls now and see when i can gethim in thanks again soooo much
