I am absolutely clueless what is wrong with my Panther Chameleon he is about 2 Years now so he is an old buddy. but he escaped in my garten and was found by a person which lives on my street about 2 months later during spring.

But when he came back i of course noticed he was thin no suprise and i got him in a healthy state in about 1-2 weeks time.

But i also noticed that he had hurt his chin so his lip is malplaced on the left side of his head. further more he got alot of scratches and stuff but all of them have healed perfectly.

Except one which have grewn in to a large and very hard bud on his stomach.
Also he has lately started to like bag out his throat, specially after he has eaten.

Feed: Crickets, dusted and none dusted and generally just a bowl of water in his cage which i switch each day.

Check the condition of the inside of his lip where it has changed shape. If you find a reddened sore with pale colored cheesy looking material on it he has an infection that will need treatment. It might be an old healed injury but if so it won't look inflamed.

As for the hard lump, very hard to say based on one blurry photo. It could be a cyst or an abscess. A vet could sample it or remove it and diagnose what it actually is.

im looking at his lobes and they are flat. usually a sign of dehydration and or malnourished. as far as his mouth is concerned he could have mouth rot or injury. the front of his lower jaw looks very funny to me as it is distorted and pushed back (birth deformity, break or mbd). his mouth needs examined thoroughly. i have no idea on the bump.

you also stated you put a bowl of water in the cage? i would like to see more on your care.

please fill this out.
