I have a 8 month old veiled chameleon that looked healthy until yesterday. He looked like he was having a little trouble walking, and then I found him on the ground and for 24 hours he has been stuck on the ground. He keeps grabbing his front legs with his back legs and has trouble moving (he doesn't use his back legs at all). He has a great UVA/UVB bulb and his cage is the right temperature. What could this be and how do I help him? Let me know if you need more information about him. Thanks!

Please fill out this form How to Ask for Help so we can have enough information to provide an adequate opinion about what may be going on with the little guy.

How far do you think he could have fallen? I think regardless of what the issue might be it's a good idea to go to the vet asap.

we need specifics on your care. sounds like he has a severe case of mbd. fill this out so we can find where the cause is and correct it.

Without more information, I can only say that the grabbing might indicate MBD...but we need more information and photos to be sure.
