Hi guys,

Just joined. Welcoming chameleon into his new life in our office! I run a safari company and have 4 professional safari guides and a zoologist working for us who will help to look after this fella who needs an urgent home. Nose Be Panther....approx 8 months old.

Question - how best to get him from his old home to his new home? Drive time approx 3 hours.

I've read about show boxes with heat mechanisms etc....but this chap is already 8 months old so he's not small. Shoe box seems rather small dosnt it? Can anyone give advice on how to best transport this chap? Will he probably sleep for the whole journey?

I will buy whatever is needed to make sure its as good a journey for him as possible. Any advice very welcome. Please help!

Thanks - Juls

A shoe box with a crumpled towel inside for him to hold on to is fine for such a short trip. Make sure the box is not directly in sunlight so it doesn't overheat. Airholes are a plus too. As for size, he doesn't need a free range habitat, just a nice simple amount of space. He won't be moving around much if at all.
