Chameleon has a bump

My veild chameleon has a bump behind his head and we think it's an abcess but I am not sure and am wondering how much a vet visit might be for him. I was also wondering the best way to get rid of stuck shed.

Hi welcome to the forum. Stuck shed, you could up the mistings. Also depending where it is you could sit him in a bowl of warm water and it may come off with a qtip. Don't pull it off. If he has an abscess he needs vet treatment ASAP as they can go now hill very quickley . It is not something you can treat yourself. Most vets can set up a payment plan if you ask.

is the bump you're referring to where his shoulders meets up with his body? That looks like edema to me. Does it happen on both sides of the body?

Yeah it's right behind his head above his shoulder and it's only on the one side, but is an edema bad?

Can edema only occur on one side like that? It usually appears on both sides in most cases I have seen on here.
