Chameleon hands are swollen, limited movement

I have a male Veiled Chameleon which i believe it sick.
Just recently, i noticed his hands were swollen, im assuming this is why he isnt moving much. I also noticed his eyes are sunken in. I have tried giving him water but he will only drink a little bit and stop. He looks hungry also but wont really eat. He has trouble eating. I try helping him by grabbing the cricket with tweezers and feeding it to him but he wont stick out his tongue to grab it. I dont know what else to do. He is about 5 years old. He is just not looking healthy. I will try to provide pictures but its hard to take them since he is always on the bottom of the cage
Any suggestions would really help

The sunken eyes is a sure sign of dehydration, you can try giving water via a syringe to keep the guy hydrated. The "fat" hands sound to me like gout, what are his feeder insects and how do you gutload and supplement? Gout is caused by a diet with too much protein.
