Chameleon fell from top of tank?

Basically my chameleon is extremely stupid and dopey ahaha and he often falls from his 4ft mesh cage right to the bottom but just climbs back up? Are chameleons adapted to fall from highs? He's fallen so many times and just gets back up? Do any of your chameleons do this? My chameleon is a one year old panther male called grumpy

He's probably not stupid but my 5 month old Charles does the same thing all the time and just climbs right back up. He does not seem to be fazed by it at all.

I'm sure they have some adaptive behavior but I don't think a Cham of that age should fall so much. When my adult male veiled fell like that he hurt his back which I believe was a late sign of MBD. He died about two or three weeks after this. Since joining this forum I have learned a lot and I think part of the problem was from incorrect supplementation. I would keep a close eye on him and check out how and when he should be getting food and supplements. Hopefully someone with much more experience than I can give you better info, but in the meantime just make sure he cannot get hurt when he falls and maybe consider a visit to a knowledgable vet. They really do not just fall for unknown reasons. If his nails are short, broken worn down, etc this might cause him to not be able to grip the screen. I would fill out the form and post pictures of him also. If he was a very old chameleon then, yes, but he is young

Oh I'm not really that worried really, he's eating fine and his nails are little worn down because he climbs on his mesh a lot he falls sometimes because he just goes on a flimsy branch but I do pick him up and make sure everything's fine after he's fallen right now he's basking but I'll upload a pic if you really want?

why don't you just change the flimsy branch instead ?

Well it's a live plant so there are some flimsy branches but I cut them off but I missed this one the over plant is now supporting the higher ones as well and I found a artificial vine to put in there as well I'm still gonna mesh it though
