Chameleon eye problems.

Hey y'all. Can anybody give me advice on what to do to help my chameleon's eye problem. Is it serious enough to take him to a veterinarian or is it something I can handle here at home? Thanks.

Is it just one eye? Can you perhaps fill out the how to ask for help form (it could be husbandry related.)

If it is only one eye , you can try these two things without any harm (except maybe a little stress) to the chameleon. Buy a sterile, plain saline solution (no preservatives) and squirt a stream of it in his eye so that his turret lifts and fills with the saline. Do this gently of course. This will hopefully dislodge any debris in there. A nice long shower/misting might help too.
