Chameleon eye bump

for a few months now my chameleon has had an eye problem, it started out as a white goo on the center of his eye now it is a round bump on the inside of his eye please tell me what i could do to cure it or tell me waht it could be

take it to the vet before it is too late. does no good sit there and wonder whats wrong. also make sure the water that you mist with is clean. all these eye problems could be due to nasty water or clean water running down dirty leaves and driping into the chams eyes while it trys to drink the water from the leaves.
