Chameleon enclosure update need opinions

congrats on your new purchase, what kind is it and male or female?

First of all did you rip holes in the mesh to get the sticks to fit? most people use thumb tack to hold branches in place. Also looks like height between the branches can be quite high maybe go diagonally a bit creating more of a stair case effect. Lastly all of your foilage is right at the bottom your cham will spend next to none of its time down there need to get those plants up higher can do so by putting them on up side down flower pots or something. the pothos will do better from the top handing down and might want a slope for the basking branch so theres different heights it can bask at

I did try to hang the pothos from the top but it was to heavy for the cage. I'm getting a male and I was thinking about naming him Yoshi :)

Congrats on getting a little one! What kind are you going to get?

I would see how he does in the cage as it looks like things could be placed too far apart as jamjam said. If he is climbing on the screen to get to different place, I would recommend moving some things around or adding another vine or two so he has more walkways and paths between the branches.

If he does climb on the side I will go my local pet store and get a few packs if fake vines. But I am getting a veiled chameleon male. I'm going to be so excited when he comes in :)

figure theres a trick around that fishline or anything similar fits through the mesh if you have a sturdy piece of wood or something across the top of the enclosure you could tie the fishline onto that and the pot
