Chameleon Eggs

Can chameleon lay Fertile eggs without mating just wondering I’ve heard there is a chance they could be fertile and also how can you tell if a egg is fertile

It depends on her history... if you got her after she’s been bread then she could have a retained clutch but if you got her as a virgin then no

Okay also I was asking because the eggs have a round dot when shined by a light and most them don’t only a couple came out like that and I heard that means they could be fertile

if Her last clutch she had was fertile then she could have a retained clutch you’ll know in two weeks if they mold

I’ve had infertiles with dots, doesn’t mean much. Best way to tell is, as mentioned above, mold or when the veins start showing up a couple months down the road.
