Chameleon - Egg Laying

If you are going to see if they are fertile, you’ll want to place them in a container that has vermiculite. You’ll moisten the vermiculite with just enough water that when you squeeze it, barely a drop comes out. Makes little divots to place the eggs with your finger. Cover and put in a closet or other area with stable temp in mid 70’s that won’t be disturbed.

Don't wait to set the eggs up right or the eggs will likely either take on too much water from the sand or dry out too easily.
The eggs should be incubated in the dark as well...they have a much better hatch rate when incubated in the dark.
