Chameleon eating everything Help !

my golden Pothos , came like so (refer to pictures below) with this random brown like hay in the middle covering the pvc pipe it’s tied to and I’ve noticed her try and eat it today should I take it all off and leave the bare PVC or is it fine ? Not sure what exactly it is been tryna google it and nothing so far. Today is cage maintenance day so I decided to get it out the way already. Oh and btw she’s shedding

I would definitely take it off. Who cares if the PVC pipe shows? It looks looks like that stuff can cause some serious digestive problems.

got it out threw it all away and this is the end result , also a bonus of Mantis/Gamora/Lizzie (haven’t decuded yet) and my make shift super worm hideout till I find/make a divider so I can have crickets and I’m thinking about one more food just haven’t found a good one yet. I’ve heard roaches but man idk lol not a fan of roaches

Lol I understand but surprisingly I can tolerate them easily now after owning them for about half a year.
