Hi,
I adopted a male veiled about 3 months ago w MBD. His current diet are crickets, mealies, superworms, occ. waxworms. He will also eat hibiscus (sp) flowers. Misted 4x a day.
He has a screened encl. kept inside with UV/UVB exp ( i now know screen blocks out a lot) 2 areas to bask. Cage temp is btwn. 85-95 with it being a little cooler at night.
Over the past 2 days, he is currently undergoing this hibernation-like state. He'll just close his eyes be a light green, when you pick him up he remains in this state for quite some time (couple of minutes) He is also now turning black just along his nose and crest, but then he'll turn green again.
Any ideas??
