Hi guys! I know many people won’t be seeing this thread but I still thought I would share! This is a project I’ve been working on since Monday, it’s a clay head of a veiled chameleon. It’s about 6” tall 5” thick (without the veil) here is what I have so far!

I haven’t glazed or fired it yet so it’s still wet and moldable but this is the main gust of it. Also I’m not very good at clay ,and I have a feeling there’s definitely someone here who is better than me so if there is please give advice as to what I could change!

You are off to a good start. Depending on how much time you have I would suggest getting the eyes level and them smoothing them into the head a little with a damp sponge. That line around the eyes is a bit hard. If you have more time adding a bit of scale detail in small areas will give you nice sense of texture.

Thank you! I’ve been working on it all week so I’m gonna take a break for the weekend but I’ll do that in Monday!
