My chameleon ate a live wasp it was extremely crunchy.I had to open
the mouth to remove the wasp with tweezers. The stinger was caught
in his upper mouth and he could not swallow it. To shorten this story
he is ok I just dont know how many times it was stung. The only visible
effect he had was squinting of both eyes,"pain".has anyone ever had one
that had eaten something poisonus?

Mine ate a wasp while basking outside...it never had a chance.... Swallowed it in one gulp and passed it the next day.

Ive seen my chams eat yellow jackets outdoors in the summer months, and they almost seem to know what they are and they chew them very quickly. I have not seen any issues arise from it (knock on wood).

What doesnt kill you, only makes you stronger.

hahaha...

Other than him looking in pain are there any other issues? swollen mouth? Keep an eye on him... If you have a herp vet near you that you trust, I would maybe make an appointment. this is just in case things arrise in a day or so and it would be good for a check up if nothing happens.

It seemed to have kind of an immunity to the toxin and it must have stung
him 20 times or more.No swelling, mucus, seemed to be ok.i thought that
once I pulled him out he was a goner but no he was just fine.

If he can eat, drink, and breath, I think he is ok. But Again... if yous ee any swelling or odd things going on, don't wait around. Just be proactive.
