Chameleon Care Advice please!

Right, I’ve had a few discussions with successful local breeders (and a few on here) and I just want to see if I am on the right track to having a good care schedule for my cham.

I will soon have a 3-month-old male panther chameleon.

Young

Viv – Small glass enclosure, well ventilated

UV – Reptisun 10.0 18 inch tube, fitting and reflector

Heat – Thermometer, Clamp lamp or similar 75w red/amber basking bulb
Roughly 65° F (18.3° C) at night and 80° F (32.2° C) during the day

Humidity – Hygrometer, mist as needed, small dripper

Décor – plants, vines and branches for climbing and basking– no loose substrate

Diet – gut loaded Locusts (small), every day
Mealworms, every few days
Wax worms (treats)

Supplements - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun - Calcium
Tues, Thurs, Sat - Calcium & D3

Adult

Viv – Large semi-screen enclosure e.g. a screen enclosure with the back and one side plastic covered (will be up against a wall anyway, don’t want my walls getting ruined)

UV – Reptisun 10.0 24 inch tube, fitting and reflector

Heat – Thermometer, Heat source & fitting red/amber/ceramic bulb

65° F (18.3° C) at night
80° F (32.2° C) during the day (90° F basking spot)

Humidity – Hygrometer, Mist 2-3 times daily, large dripper

Décor – Plants, vines, branches for climbing and basking – no loose substrate

Diet – Mainly gut loaded Locusts(larger), every other day
Mealworms, every few days or so
Wax worms (treat)

Supplements - Mon, Fri - Calcium
Thurs, Sat - Calcium & D3

Does this sound about right? Im open to suggestions but as for the glass enclosure when its still young, I have been told by quite a few successfull breeders/owners that this is suitable to my needs, baring in mind i live in england and the temps aren't that great.

I may have missed stuff out but if you think i have just ask/suggest please!

thanks for reading

for babies, knock that 10.0 with 5.0 instead.
I have 3 supplements:
Multivitamin MTh (Herptivite)
Calcium w/ D3 TF (Repcal)
minerall calcium no D3 Wsat (MinerAll 0)
no supplementation on Sun

85 F for baby basking spot
70 to 80 F for everywhere less during the day
as far as glass enclosure, I usually will advise people to not use it after the age of 3 months.
But, it's really up to you.
In US, aluminum screen cage is cheaper than glass enclosure. So, it's cheaper and better air ventilation i say why not :)

I avoided mealworms alltogether because they are not that nutritious.
IMHO, they are the potato chips of the insect world and wax worm is the greasy burger.
I'll stick with locust and add your choice of silkworm, phoenix worm, horn worms, and/or Dubia roaches.

hope that helps

THIS IS FINE.

I USE A 5.0 AND HAVE FOR YEARS...SO I CAN'T TELL YOU IF THE 10.0 IS BETTER OR WORSE.

Heat – Thermometer, Clamp lamp or similar 75w red/amber basking bulb
Roughly 65° F (18.3° C) at night and 80° F (32.2° C) during the day
I USE A REGULAR INCANDESCENT BULB IN A METAL HOOD FOR A BASKING LIGHT...BUT I DON'T USE A BASKING LIGHT ON MY VEILED BABIES OR PANTHERS. I USE A FIXTURE THAT HOLDS TWO FLUORESCENT TUBE LIGHTS....ONE UVB AND ONE WHITE LIGHT. BE AWARE THAT THE CAGES I PUT THEM OVER ARE LONG/LOW SO THE TEMPERATURE STAYS AT ABOUT 80F.

Humidity – Hygrometer, mist as needed, small dripper
I DON'T USE DRIPPERS ON CHAMELEONS THAT ARE UNDER 3 MONTHS OF AGE...THERE HAVE BEEN INSTANCES OF BABIES ASPIRATING WATER, SO I DON'T LIKE TO RISK IT.

Décor – plants, vines and branches for climbing and basking– no loose substrate
I USE NO SUBSTRATE AT ALL. MAKE SURE THAT YOU WASH ALL PLANTS WELL ON BOTH SIDES OF THE LEAVES...EVEN IF THEY ARE ARTIFICIAL. (I DON'T RECOMMEND ARTIFICIAL ANYHOW.) MAKE SURE LIVE PLANTS ARE NON-TOXIC. SOME PANTHER CHAMELEONS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CHEW ON THE BARK OF BRANCHES, SO USE NON-TOXIC.

Wax worms (treats)
NOT A FAN OF MEALWORMS.

Supplements - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun - Calcium
Tues, Thurs, Sat - Calcium & D3
I DON'T USE THE CALCIUM/D3 THAT OFTEN. MAKE SURE THAT THE CALCIUM AND THE CALCIUM/D3 ARE BOTH PHOSPHOROUS FREE.
WHAT ABOUT VITAMINS?

Adult
Heat – Thermometer, Heat source & fitting red/amber/ceramic bulb
CHAMELEONS SEEM TO LOOK AT LIGHT AS A SOURCE OF HEAT AND MAY NOT SIT UNDER A CERAMIC HEATER.
