Chameleon burn heal time

Are panthers good at healing from burns? My Panther has a slight little burn at the tip of his tail and I started to put polysporin on it every morning.. Is a vet visit worth it or should I continue with polysporin until he is healed completely?

They heal pretty slowly at everything it seems and burns are no exception. I would try and get a hold of some silver sulfadiazine for the burn instead. It is not and over the counter med though. If you don't see any improvement with the polysporin I would go to the vet and get the script for the sulfadiazine.
