Chameleon Bedtime

Does anyone else find that their cham has a favourite sleeping place and that they go there about the same time every day?

I would never have thought of a behaviour trait such as that. I find it quite amusing - the only one of my animals that goes to bed on time! :) Finding this animal more interesting everyday!

Yup!! Lily goes to her 'bedroom' at the back left of her house after the heat lamp goes off. I have heat going off half an hour before the uv light, so she knows that when the first light goes out it's time for bed! Ocassionally she'll sleep holding on the the 'trunk' of her umbrella plant but usually she roosts in the same spot. Cute isn't it?! :D

Karma climbs to the very top of his cage and sits on the highest perch.

Sam sleeps in the back behind his ficus (hes a little antisocial;))

Lol.. mine has a favourite spot to sleep, right on her stick leaning up a bit, she sleeps... and in the daytime shes normally playing in her ficus :p
(Wish she'd only 'Do her business' In one spot) :p

My Arda usually sticks to one branch when asleep but today I had her out longer then I thought and she fell asleep on her tree. Now I can't get her off!! I tried and she hissed at me then went back to sleep. Oh well, looks like she's camping out tonight.

ya my male veiled sleeps on the same spot of his cage hidden in the fake plants and he poops in the same spot back left corner! i love chameleons, their so cool.

The male of my first chameleons (pair of globifers) was free range on 2 huge pothos hooked together by a branch. He had a "latrine" bowl where he would go and a sleep spot every night. It seems all of my chams have a night time place but his was the cutest.
