CHAMELEON ART THREAD

I do lots of ball point pen drawing on wood panels and paper. Takes forever but I hope y'all enjoy. Had one of a Jacksons Chameleon but not sure where it went.

Quite a few great artists here!
Anyone doing it as a job to earn a living?
I’m a highschool senior that works part time at a funeral home but I also do Tattoo designs upon request. This is a Nautical themed one with Spiritual symbolism that I drew digitally:

It’s about resurrection and salvation in Christ. The putting out of old and continuing in the new. Freedom from bondage and the goodness of God.

Many people do not understand the amount of time I put into my ballpoint pen drawings. My 16"x20" drawings take about 20-25 hours. It takes a special type of person to understand the cost associated with artwork, not just mine. I have sold several pieces but there isnt much demand to be able to survive off strictly art. For me, it is a creative outlet that allows me to make some extra cash to put into my old school 82 toyota wagon, and other projects Im working on.

I do not do it to earn a living; however, I have sold a few drawings and paintings. I also did the logo for the PSPGURU on Instagram (and other sites). I have made a pretty penny for some of my pieces.
I really just do it for fun, but why not get paid for doing what you love??
My uncle sells his art and works at a hospital for free cheering people up with games and art!

I understand...my son is an artist and earns his living doing it and I've seen how long it takes so many times.
