Chameleon acting funny?

Ok so me and my roommate just noticed that our chameleon is hanging in an awkward position. He is hanging upside down from a vine with only his two feet grabbing it, and he is twisting his entire body so that his head is close to his tail. He has been doing this for about 10 minutes, I know chameleons have flexible bones, but it definitly seems weird (especially since he has never done anything like this before). His tail is shedding, so maybe he is trying to bite the remaining peel off? Anyone know why he is doing this?

Could you get a picture? Sometimes chameleons twist in odd positions to get shed off.

That must be it, because he already started climbing back on the vine and while he was doing it his eyes were still all normal and open.

My guy will twist in positions i didnt even know existed...when he tries to eat my hand!!!

See now there's many reasons they will do that, your hand must taste good LOL!

LOL i put my hand over her head, and she practicaly layed on her back aagainst the vine trying to bite it, but didn`t succeed...lolzes
