Dear Friends,

I need help, just now, I went to a local reptile shop and I found some CB strange lizard, the boss told me from a japanese book that it's scientific name is Chameleo Barbatus. I cannot find any information on the web in this regard.

It's features are a body of an anole, changes color, has a pair of chameleon eye, clawed toe with adhesive pads just like geckos can climb glass wall.

Please advise or offer me some information about this as I'm very interested.

Eventually, no picturing in the shop.

Thanks alot.

Quite the unusual lizard you described, sounds like a species from indonesia, or one of the southern asian areas.

its not a true chameleon , at least i don't believe it to be.

it'd be great if you could try and snag a photo somehow, it'd be great to see.

Hi, found a little more info on the Chameleo Barbatis - It is actually anolis barbatus or chamaeleolis barbatus. You can check out a picture at www.animal-paradies.de/Anolis.htm.
Very interesting lizard. How much was the pet store asking for him?? Did he give you any idea what kind of care it needs?

Oh my........... Yes it's a Chamaeleolis barbatus.

The pet shop was asking it for 1200 Hong Kong Dollars for small ones and 1500 Hong Kong Dollars for big ones.

Since the big boss is not there, I didn't asked the other guy for it's particular care and right now I'm having problem in finding it's specific care.

Can anyone here help to find some information on it's care?

Thanks alot please.
