What a question for me.....^^

i like trioceros species mostly.

i like mostly the cristatuscomplex. pfefferie, wiedersheimi, cristatus, ...
but also johnstoni , oweni, fuelleborni, etc.

but there are also some interested chamaeleo species. ch. chamaeleo,
for example.

I own 4 species in the Trioceros genus and I love them, but I'm voting Chamaeleo.
The veileds own my heart and the new translucent babies here are beyond cool.

I'm voting Chamaeleo although I love ALL chameleons. I'm with Brad on this one. My veileds are the greatest! :D

My vote goes to Trioceros since more species get my interest (especially Tr. cristatus, deremensis and johnstoni) although ch. quilensis is the species i started with years ago and i definately would like to keep it again in the future.

Now in the right thread:rolleyes:

Some reasons why Trioceros is way better:

The fith picture is an incornutus male with the typical green coloration

@Patrick: Yes, I'm keeping them all at the moment

I have both and prefer the triocerus go Melleri! My veiled is pretty but evil.

In addition to the ornamentation of trioceros you've got to love the skin too. The variable scalation, the texture, blended coloring, even the feel (touch the skin of a quadricornis sometime- wow) is superior.

I think a fair poll would be kinyongia vs chamaeleo. but imho Trioceros have neat body structure and morphology, and are extremely diverse. Tr. schubotzi, Tr.oweni, Tr. melleri, Tr. hoehnelli, Tr. Pfefferi, Tr. fuellborni, all some of my favorite chameleons.

by the way. Perfect specimens Benny!
