We've been having some great weather here this weekend so I got a chance to put all the lizards outside in the sun yesterday. Looks like more of the same, possibly even warmer today! I took a bunch of pics yesterday so hopefully there's a little here for everyone.
First I put everyone out and got a few random shots. (Well, the deremensis stay outside still)
Chameleon butt
"I told you I don't like having my picture taken, dude...."
"ENOUGH!!!!"
I haven't posted pics of this guy in a while. Unfortunately the Meller's necrosis got us, too. This is one of the CH Meller's that Mike/FLChams produced. It was raised under a small 40 watt bulb since a month or two old with no problems. When he/she got bigger, started basking too close to it and, well you can see the results. Went off food for a VERY long time during which I handfed mashed up crickets, supers, and the occasional pinky. I left it in a huge cage outside all summer and fall and he/she started eating again.
Barley, hang out here and watch the chams while I go next door to visit my buddy Kasper.
If anyone walks by and looks at the chameleons a little too long, give them your serious stare.
Kasper's a good friend but as a neighbor, he's a little too loud sometimes. He always likes to keep his house a mess, too.
A lot of the outside pictures were washed out by the sun but I was still in the mood once I got everyone back inside later. Inside pics in next post!
