We've been having some great weather here this weekend so I got a chance to put all the lizards outside in the sun yesterday. Looks like more of the same, possibly even warmer today! I took a bunch of pics yesterday so hopefully there's a little here for everyone. :)

First I put everyone out and got a few random shots. (Well, the deremensis stay outside still)

I haven't posted pics of this guy in a while. Unfortunately the Meller's necrosis got us, too. This is one of the CH Meller's that Mike/FLChams produced. It was raised under a small 40 watt bulb since a month or two old with no problems. When he/she got bigger, started basking too close to it and, well you can see the results. Went off food for a VERY long time during which I handfed mashed up crickets, supers, and the occasional pinky. I left it in a huge cage outside all summer and fall and he/she started eating again.

Barley, hang out here and watch the chams while I go next door to visit my buddy Kasper.

If anyone walks by and looks at the chameleons a little too long, give them your serious stare.

Kasper's a good friend but as a neighbor, he's a little too loud sometimes. He always likes to keep his house a mess, too.

A lot of the outside pictures were washed out by the sun but I was still in the mood once I got everyone back inside later. Inside pics in next post!

Very nice pics, Kent ! I love those Trioceros pics, especially the brown deremensis. Maybe you can sell in future "new designer-phase brown-red" deremensis offspring :D

Oh, man! I never thought of that! I'll make deremensis as popular as veileds and panthers! :D

Hey, Scott. Yeah, so far I've only brought them in two nights when it was really, really windy. Came out and found the male's cage had blown off it's table and was laying on the deck on its side. I don't feed them everyday but they would still eat that often if I let them.

Beautiful pics and animals, Kent! So freaking jealous of your weather. One of these days, one of these days...............I will be annoying all you californians:p

Cain, you're such a Californian trapped on the East Coast. :D I think you'd fit in here much more than you realize.

WOW , beautiful pics! I love your collection . Very nice!

Thanks! We can't wait til we can get you (and of course Lisa and a couple bullies) down here to help us build a proper cham room! ;)

hi kent very beautifull i love your brown deremesis
is she always brown color??

Hi Celine, thanks very much. Yes, she has been staying brown for a while now. She is from the clutch Fabián produced and is apparently the only one that isn't green now. I'm VERY happy he picked her out for me!

I love Martin!

Yeah, me too. He's really grown on me. After seeing that video of how tame grandis can get I'm determined to get him the same. A couple of times he's sat on my hand for half a minute or so but any movement and he goes flying!

Just takes time and patience. Just make sure you don't try grabbing, and if you hold him above your head to give him a little room and make him feel safer, it always helps.

Best of luck. :D

Very nice pics, Kent!! You always have such nice pictures!

See you in Pomona (I'm assuming....)!! :D

Kent,

I am with Jared, I love to hate you! Ugh, nice weather all the time, high crime rate, lots of chameleons, nice photography, what else could you as for?

:p No worries, us Northeners are just jealous.

Love Martin! I haven't seen my Zippy in awhile (free ranging kitchen gecko) :(
