at the moment there aren't real rudis in captivity. It's something from the sternfeldi/rudis group, but may only Chris can help you here really.
By the way nice pictures and beautiful chameleons !
Yeah, i know most of the animals imported as 'rudis' are in fact sternfeldi or some other member of the bitaeniatus-complex, but it would be nice if someone could help in identifying these babies There are around 4 months (hatched in november 2008).
Joery - These appear to be Ch. (T.) sternfeldi, as you expected. Do you have a photo of the adults by chance? When you do not have locality informaiton, you can most easily differentiate between Ch. (T.) sternfeldi and Ch. (T.) rudis by the parietal crest on the casque.
Thanks for the information, unfortunately I don't have pictures or can make pictures of the parents, since i obtained these babies when they were 2 months old, they should be now around 5 months, but i don't own the parents myself. I will just wait till they are full grown to determine the exact species. Thanks!
Really cute little chameleons. I'm looking forward to hearing what yours end up being. I have two female adult (WC) rudis... er... sternfeldi. One is the normal green one and the other is a red.
Enjoy those little juvies. They are very, very cute.
