my cham has a abcess a week ago had a vet remove it and was doing great we had to bring him to a checkup which went fine but today he has been sleeping in the same spot all day long and he wont open his eyes. i know i could take him to the vet but does anyone have and other ideas as to what it could be maybe it was the car ride to the vet which was about 20 min. he is bright green but i can sort of see his ribs which doesnt make sense he eats a ton on most days from crickets to wax worms.

Hi! Being able to see their ribs is sort of typical. As you have seen the vet, I think you should call him/her (or maybe you can e-mail? My vet lets me do that, I can send pictures and videos) and get some thoughts on whether this might be related to the abscess.

Hello :)

He could just be resting, ik trips in the car are typically very stressful to chams. And stress during a recovery is typically more exhausting. As long as he perks up, still eats, drinks, etc, I'd let him be for a while. But I'd still call the vet, my opinion wont be as helpful as the DVM :) I hope everything is okay!!
