Cham wont eat!

My 6 month old cham will not eat when im in the room. As soon as i walk in he stops half way through a cricket and freezes. I know he eats them when im not there but why wont he eat when i enter the room?

hes self conscious? doesnt want you to think hes a piggy and eats all the time? i wouldnt worry, as long as he is eating.

try ignoring him , dont look them in the eye..do random stuff around your room, like watch tv, draw..anything where you are there but seem occupied..eventually they will ignore you, and start to recognize that you feed and water them..takes time but they do adjust..

He has his own room, its a spare room with Nothing in it other then my cham cage lol. I spend maybe an hour in there everyday thats all. Maybe i need to spend more time with him?
