Cham with four joints on each hind leg?

i'm sorry your buddy is ill! with the corrections to your husbandry and a vet visit to get calcium quickly into his system he will hopefully recover fairly well. on the thread about MBD that was linked above it shows cases of MBD and how the chams were able to do after getting the right care, many do well!

this is a site that you can search reptile vets on by country and state/territory! http://www.arav.org/find-a-vet/

i hope he gets better soon! please keep us updated on how he is doing

poor guy has severe mbd from the looks. I know a rescue if all hope is lost they will take him in and do there best to save him. only thing is you pay the shipping but if its what needs to be done do it. I've done it once :( But she is doing much better now!

In addition to correcting your husbandry as Dez described you will need to give the chameleon extra calcium to correct the MBD. Liquid calcium sandoz or gluconate canned given daily for this...but the quickest way to fix it is for a vet to give it shots of calcium until the blood calcium levels are high enough to give it a shot of calcitonin to quickly draw the calcium back into its bones.
