I have to move with a friend for a few months until we save up enough for our own apartment and where I'm going has absolutely no room and I really want to keep my babies :( i just need someone to babysit my chams for awhile. i would be willing to help out with financially with them while they are away and be able to get pics and see how they are doing. what i have right now is 2 veiled chams (male and female) and a panther....if anyone could help me PLEASE send a PM...im really desperate and dont know what to do and this is the only thing i can think of. im supposed to be moving within the next two weeks so the sooner the better, i really dont know how to ship and i really dont trust it so i kind of prefer local, im living in Pa but where im going is in MI. :(

what part of pa do you live in?? id have to talk to my parents (who are afraid of big chams) but maybe i could help you.

and thank you everyone... i really hope someone comes through too
i appreciate your support.

:(

:( parents said no. sorry, your probably the closet chameleon keeper to me to :/ your like an hr from here. i live in mercer county. but we go hunting in up your way. maybe you should ask a friend of yours who lives close to you. exsplain the feeding and supplements and stuff. and call to check up on them. you might bring a new person into this hobby. plus panthers and veileds are beginner lvl so im sure if someone put the effort into it they could do it if provided the info.

sorry to let ya down. hope it all works out for you and your chams.:)

well thanks for the effort, most of my friends and fam are either scared of them or dont like them lol .... im going to keep looking. i hope to find someone here.

I'd like to offer to help if you wouldn't mind bringing them over to my apartment on the way to MI, but I've never kept a panther, only a veiled so I would feel a little worried...

would you be willing to run up to ohio? id have to talk it over with my parents but i do own a panther and a veiled at the moment. id be so worried tho if some freak thing happened, its hard lending your pets to people, i know my chams are like my babies! sometimes i worry about them more than myself!

Not to worry we all worry about our chams like you do. If something happens you both agree ahead, that it could have happened with the cham being with it's owner as well and that you are not to be held responsible. Well unless you forget and cook one of them for lunch.

i really dont want to do this, but i think im just going to find them new homes :(
its not fair to them to have to keep moving around, and it sure isnt healthy.
it would be easier for everyone and them that way, not really looking to get much of a profit from them the most important thing is finding good homes.

D: theres always a way to keep them!!! have u tried asking a local pet shop to look after them? not petsmart or petco or anything but somthing local that you could inform someone on how to take care of them.
