Cham shedding?

I was looking at my cham a lil bit ago, and I noticed some white stuff around his vent..It was on both sides. Hopefully he is shedding since he hasnt been eating.
If you need a picture I will try to get one before cham bed time.

Yup! I got up this morning and I could see the skin falling off. How should I help him through it? Can I feed him again? I dont wanna put crickets in there just so they can climb on him.

Mist with warm water directly on him a couple times a day and that will help get through the shed. As long as he is getting enough water that should be all he needs.

Mine tend to slow down their feeding when they are in a shed. Sometimes I will see them eat their own shed. Dont freak out if you see that happen. Perfectly normal.

Thanks! I sprayed him and he didnt seem to mind. How often do I spray him? He is going crazy trying to get that skin off.

You need to give them and the viv a chance to dry out in between mistings otherwise the skin cannot dry out and fall off. Don't be tempted to pick any loose bits off either as it may damage the new skin underneath and cause infection. The best thing to help them shed is raising the humidity but allowing a dry out period too.
