Cham room smell?

Ok ive had my cham for a few weeks now.Ive noticed that there is a musk in the air in his room.His cage is spot cleaned daily ,drip pan changed daily.I was housing a small container of crickets in there with veggie/fruit gutload that would sit for a few days so maybe that was it not a lot thought just a few slices or this and that.I removed that monday and there still is a musk in air.Any help or anyone else have this problem.The smell kind of smells like his umbrella plant sort of?

To an extent thats to be expected. Due to the live plants and higher than average humidity it might be a little stagnant. You build a rainforest you smell a rainforest. Make sure you try and circulate the air frequently as you dont want it to be stale.

You could do what I do. I keep extra scheffleras in my back yard and once a month I switch them out. They stay nice and healthy, and I get some time without that stagnant water smell.

All permeable surfaces in your cham room absorb the humidity and if there's not a lot of air movement in or out of that room it's going to be a bit musty. Remove as many things (especially fabric and other absorbing things) from the room as you can. Plug-in air filters (without scent) can help a lot as they help circulate air at a low level.
