Chams current viv, just bought him a nice new 2x2x4 aluminium mesh cage, just making room to assemble it at mo.

Current viv has one flourescent light repti-glo 8.0 and a basking lamp 60w.
Wondering when i set up new mesh cage, i have bought a twin light starter unit so intending on putting two flourescent tubes on top (with reflectors). What rating do i go for?
Also should i have more than one basking spot?
how can i keep up the heat at night in the mesh cage when the lights are all off?

Thanks for your advice in advance :)

I would buy a 5.0 long bulb for the hood. One basking spot will be good. Some have 2 on the larger cages but the chams seem to stick to one anyway...

Also, is that a water dish in there? Toss that, chams like to drink from the rain (so, with all of ours, from the misting).

Hi, thanks. He is about 6 1/2 months now. He is an Ambilobe panther not sure if red/blue bar, This is his dad:

Lights are set on a timer so even if i am not there cham gets 12 hours of light a day on and off.
The Water dish in there is from an older pic, and was only in there to keep the humidity up. I mist his tank for him to drink and he has showers, and even occasionally drinks from a little syringe.
I am going to be setting up a dripper on the new tank.
The new cage is 24x24x48, i have a twin flourescent starter unit so i will put two flourescent tubes above, prob one 5.0 and then one 8.0.
Then have basking lamp(s). I will look into the ceramic heater.
