Cham loves walking on screen

So my veiled Max E Meleon(male) for some reason will constantly walk on the screen of his (ceiling and floor mostly, occasionally he'll climb on the front). I know this isn't good for his claws especially when he gets bigger and I would like to know ways to prevent this and possibly why he does this. His cage is 4' in height and 2' in depth and length. Temps range from low to mid 90's at the top where he basks and drops down to about low 70's at the bottom. He's fed gutloaded crickets without d3 everyday (with d3 like twice a month) and gets super worms about 3 days a week and occasional hornworms when I order them. He's a male about 10 months old(seems a little smaller than he should be too) but with no other problems and ideas are appreciated. I can give more details and specifics if needed too

If he's 10 months he's fine as a size. I can tell you putting a lot more branches for him to traverse will help with screen climbing. Right now you don't have near enough. More foliage would probably help too. His temps in basking shouldn't go above 92 F. So stay away from mid 90's. I personally never go above 88 for adult veileds. Are you giving any multivitamins at all? I also recommend into looking into more feeders, and maybe trying to feed veggies and maybe a few fruits.

It's a grow light. I have a solarglow 160watt uvb/basking light and the purple grow light for his pothos and schefflera

Yea I'll get a couple more branches 2 or 3 see if that helps at all and try a lower wattage bulb to lower his temp a bit. I've never used multi vitamins, honestly never looked into it any recommendations? And what veggies can I feed him and how will I get him to eat them(he doesn't seem interested I need stuff that doesn't move and I'm planning on getting some fake plants to cover the walls as it needs constant misting at the moment to stay humid enough

Be careful with fake plants. For veggies and such most chameleons do well with kale (which I always recommend tuscan and dino due to the lower amount of oxalates) also mustard greens and dandelions (these are just a few). Pair them by putting a superworm or two in a cup with them and he will grab them on accident. Usually they learn within a few times that the veggies taste good. Only veileds do this. As far as multivitamins go, I could tell you my preferred way of dusting, which is not the norm. But I will go with this. Get reptivite which has preformed vit A in it. Only do this twice a month. If you plan on still doing D3 on a separate dusting day, make sure you get the reptivite without D3 in it. Constant misting? What humidity levels are you trying to reach? It is normal and healthy for there to be drops between misting sessions. With a misting session you should hit around 75-80% while when not misting you can easily go down to 40% safely. Fake plants do not hold humidity well.

I would get rid of that purple light. The cage is not very bright. I would add a fluorescent light....and if the purple light is the heat source a regular incandescent household bulb for basking.

Yea there is a 160 watt solar that is both uvb and heat. The purple light is a grow light for his plants, it's a full spectrum light so I figured it would also help him.

Yea my humidity is usually around 40% but with the heating in my house since it's winter it's hard to keep it above 40% I just ordered a mistking system so that'll help a lot and I'll only keep the fake plants up till his real ones get bigger. But thanks for the veggie tip, I'm pretty stocked on kale cause my beardie loves it so I'll start with that, thanks for the tips

I don't like having the UVB and heat all in one. To warm up the chameleon has to sit under the UVB. To get UVB the chameleon has to warm up. Sometimes it only needs heat or UVB not both at the same time.
