Cham is finally eating well

Thanks all for your help and suggestion. My cham is finally got a good appetite and now i can't keep up with her food demand.

Factors that could have caused the hunger strike :
- New cage
- Winter in South Africa therefore cold
- She was shedding
- Introduction of cup feeding
- Using 5.0 in a Flexarium

Things i changed :
- Got a digital thermometer with probe for basking area
- Got 10.0 UV light
- Place her outdoors more often for more real sun light exposure
- Introduced fruit flies for variety
- Smaller sized feeder insects
- Added heater to raise night time room temp

Thanks again.

Glad to hear she's eating again. I do suspect that winter may have played a big role. Now that the temperatures are starting to rise again, I've noticed increased levels of activity in all my animals (including the Dubia roaches, who seem to be eating quite ferociously these days).
If you read an earlier thread of mine, I also noted that changing the UV bulbs seemed to influence my chameleon's appetite: https://www.chameleonforums.com/does-bulb-make-difference-4494/

Continue to monitor her droppings to ensure she's remaining healthy, and that she's getting enough water.

I have added a 10.0 exa-terra florescent tube and a normal florescent tube, much more light. Couldn't find a zoomed one.

She is still drinking well and the poop looks good.
