Cham initiating coming out of enclosure same time every evening

Hello, Just wondering... My 8month old veiled, every evening at 630 or 7 he will go to the bottom of his enclosure or sit on the mealworm feeder and "paw" at the glass door. He often will have black markings on him while doing this, which I know means he is stressed. I open the door and he crawls right out onto my hand. He will still have dark markings and will actually crawl pretty fast for a cham with his eyes locked on me. It is so strange. After about a minute of the black markings and fast crawling he will slow down and turn bright green. He will just hangout on my and my daughter for about a half hour. I typically have to force him back into his enclosure to put him away. He seems to enjoy being out and being handled but the black markings and the fast walking in the beginning are very strange. Any insight into what this could mean?

Maybe the lights just right at that time and he sees himself in the glass? or maybe doesn't like being in a glass box. Are you sure its a he and not a she, looking for a place to lay eggs? Every evening at 630 or 7 the only thing my panthers are looking for, is their favorite sleeping spot. mealworm are not the best option for feeding a chameleon.

Have you checked the temperature? Maybe he's too warm or humid and needs a breather.
Temp and humidity are good. 75 to 95 depending on which part of the enclosure Humidity is always 60-80% He seems to like coming out and walking up and down our arms. Eventually he will lay on my hand and just chill. He is a really nice green color and seems really relaxed. I was thinking if anything maybe he needs more room to climb. By next Sat he will be in his 18x18x36 screen cage, still working on getting it all put together. I think he likes our body warmth, but he also seems fine in his current enclosure.

He has seen himself once or twice, but tonight I just opened the door and put my hand in he didn't get on so I shut the door and started to back up and he came closer to the glass, I opened the door put my hand there and he hopped right on. He is moving into a 18x18x36 screened cage on Saturday, still working out the habit to get it set up for him. He is only 8 months so I guess he could end up actually being a girl. Definitely not pregnant. He also goes to sleep at 7ish. It seems like it is just becoming his routine. I am thrilled for it since he seems to seek out being touched. He mainly eats crickets, mealworms are kind of like an extra treat. I have tried some fruit but he has not been receptive to it. Any other suggestions on food sources for 8 month old veiled?
