Cham in Kricket Keeper, Large - in sun?

Hey there!

I have a Panther cham - I have posted specs in the past about his habitat but was wondering if anyone has ever put their chams outside, in a large kricket keeper, some foliage inside which has been misted, lid open (the ventilated lid is locked but the top square lid is open for more air, of course he is supervised), getting some sun for a few hours a day (vs being inside his cage)....

Let me know! Thanks!

Is your cricket keeper plastic? Uv rays from the sun won't go through plastic or glass. I think it might get too hot. I've seen people using mesh laundry baskets , the collapsable ones for short term sun time.:)

I will have to get one of those - I did not know UV rays do not go in there. Thanks!

You can also get another cage, or build one for him to use when outside.

Yes it is my intention to get something better but I wanted to start getting him out there today - the weather is so great.

I have changed out the kricket keeper and have him in an opened, mesh like container.

Thank you all for your ideas :)
