got my cham a few days ago she is full of eggs , she has been , digging , only layed one egg , please any advice to make sure things go as good as it can , new to this all and any advice please

Don't watch her. Ever. If you watch her she will abandon the hole and can become egg bound and may die. Just leaver her alone. Every couple hours take a super quick peek to see if she's back in the tree yet, when she is give her lots of food and water.

Thats the best advise out there. Just leave her alone.

How big is your laying bin?

size

2 ft long 1and half foot wide about 1and a half foot deep , l only ever take a quick look and keep away she looks to be asleep , l have been told this is her 4 lot , she arrived 2 days ago heavy with eggs

Sounds good, She should do her thing over the next couple of days.

Hey you forgot to tell us what kind of girl you have. Do you know how old she is? Are the eggs fertile? Let us know how it goes.

yemen

she is a yemen she is so fat her ribs stick out , has far as we know eggs should be good , she sleeps a lot then digs then sleep , l'm so worried we will lose her , the male just sits and watch her all the time

You cannot house a male and female together!!!!!!!!!!
Especialy if she is gravid and laying.
She might see him as a possible threat that is why the process is going slow. Remove him from her cage permanently!

Wow unbelievable

always been together

this is her 4 lot the male has always been with her the last owner tryed to split them and she stopped eating , never been apart , she layed her last 3 lot with him with her

You cant believe what the last owner said against what is common sense if you know chameleons.
So do the best thing and get them seperated.
The male will keep mating with the female non stop at ever oppurtunity so she will probably lay 1 more batch after this one and then die (unless she doesnt make it after this one).

This is getting to be a testy threat.

I've never bred chameleons, but I do breed geckos and it's the same for all species - the girls need privacy. It's tough enough as it is to try to push out eggs, so if you can do anything to make her more comfortable then it's probably worth it to try it. I trust the people that have given you advice already because they have way more cham experience than I do, and if they say take the male out then I think it's a valid opinion.

Would it hurt to separate them at least as long as she's gravid?
