cham falling to bottom of cage

Hey have u guys had your cham fall to the bottom of your cage. A couple of times, my cham's nail got caught in the screen(I have an open air terranium) and he kept trying to get it out but he turned his body so much at some point that the nail came out but he dropped right down to the floor of the tarranium. How can I prevent this from happening? Has anyone had similar stories to this?

I have not ever had this happen, but I would say try and place foliage as "nets" around the cage. This should at least soften a clumsy cham's fall. :)

More foliage might also keep him off the screen. They frequently climb screens when there is no other place to climb.

Line the inside of your cage with the plastic chicken fencing to keep you chams nails from getting caught. Screen can pull out their nails. The plastic fencing can be bought at Home Depot.
