I have a 3-4 month old male veiled who is pretty consistently brown since he moved into his bigger enclosure. He is active and eats like a champ but his coloring is worrying me. Ive read that darkened colors is a sign of stress so I've kept the room he's in quiet and free of heavy traffic but there has been no change. He's been in the new enclosure for three days. Could this just be new cage nerves or something more serious? I'm new to chameleon husbandry so I want to make sure I'm doing this right!!:)

If he's only been in there for a few days, you can expect him to be stressed. Give him a couple of weeks to settle down, and he should color up eventually!

I'd agree the change is stressing him. Chams don't like change. However, many veileds will go through a duller browish phase at about 6 months old so you may see that start up later on.
