Hands down a linear tube lighting setups is better. It will provide the UVB distribution you will be looking for, especially in a larger/tall cage. If I had to recommend a type, I would look into the double and quad HO T5 fixtures as they are currently the best on the market for artificial lighting.
Alright guys need help... I have a ambilobe cham... I have a 4ft cage n I have a solar glo bulb (heat n uvb) and a uvb 5.0 bulb... Is that too much uvb for my cham or good? Also is that enough light for my plant too? I have a shefflera... It's like keeping the plants is hard lol... My cham is healthy though... But I just bought the solar globe n was wondering if it's too much uvb
Great, thanks for the info! Another question...would you recommend a plant light, or will the UVB be enough for the plants?Hands down a linear tube lighting setups is better.
