Ceramic or Basking Bulb?

Hey guys, I currently run a Reptisun 5.0 T5 HO Lamp for UVB and a 6500k LED hood set up for my Panther. I"m currently using a Reptisun heat bulb and I am getting adequate temperatures.

Would a non light emitting heat bulb give me better results? Do they last longer? use less power?

Any pros and cons?

you need a basking bulb! chameleons realize light as a heat source as they would the sun in the wild. if you need more heat increase the wattage, or if you can safely move light or basking spot bit closer without risking burns do so.

Ah, I didn't not think of that. I assumed they would gravitate towards the heat not the light.
