There's essentially no difference. Many cbb animals are the result of wc x wc breedings in captivity so even if anything was passed on to the egg, it could potenially happen in either situation. From what I've seen and experienced, that particular breeder seems to sell panthers at a size and age that they're just about bullet-proof.

Captive Hatched Chams are not prone to parasites, in fact I have never heard of a CH having parasites. It would be possible if the husbandry did not have the babies in a seperate non-wild caught area, or cross contamination as in wiping out all your cage bottoms, both WC and CH with the same rag.

That being said, Jim from Chameleon Company is the best in the business, you don't need to worry about getting a sick animal. He stands behind his Chams, and your biggest challenge will be replicating the care that Jim gives to all his critters!:D

Hope this helps
Nick

I agree with everything that's been said, I just want to add though, that I would be hesitant to buy a captive hatched animal simply because I'd have no idea of what genes I would be getting. Well, unless you're looking at an older male.

yea thats true.. because im looking to get a nice male so that i can start breeding when hes old enough.
