CB vs. CBB

I'm confused. What are you asking? Your title reads: CB vs CBB but your question in the body of your post asks if there is a difference between the behavior of wild caught and captive bred.
There is no difference between the behavior of captive born babies and captive born and bred babies. Behavior is both learned and hard wired (genetics). Chameleons do very little learning in the egg and both CB and CBB eggs would be hatched the same way. (Chickens on the other hand learn to recognize their mother before hatch and vice versa. She spends days talking to them as hatching approaches.)
There can be a huge difference between the behavior of a captive born and a wild caught. Some wild caughts will never be tame, to the point of remaining as afraid of people as the day they were captured. There may be subtle behavior differences that start before they hatch as chameleon eggs are laid in a mass with eggs touching each other. Chameleon eggs in the wild incubate and hatch in a mass of eggs touching and grouped closely together. Eggs laid in captivity are kept physically separated while incubating by most breeders. Eggs do communicate with each other to synchronize their hatch. Who knows what else they learn.

Sorry to jump in- hope it's o.k but I was wondering the exact same question today, I bought my pygs as cb but wondered is there a big difference in behaviour of a wc - fairly settled and acclimatised ( if that's possible -to a cb chameleon (that perhaps is a species that is fully a display animal rather than a regularly handled panther or vieled say. )
My pygs are not worried by my presence- i can move my hand around in their viv and move stuff around, they seem o.k with it, no change in behaviour or posture- i know that their way of dealing with stress is to stay still but I've been in there and they've been feeding whilst i'm there so hoping that's a sign of genuine cb?
I've never had wc so i know nothing of wc behaviour.
I was wondering if one could tell because if you went to a shop and they say cb but maybe actually wc what would you look for- (would they freeze up or display aggression or fear more - colour changes?) which I would really not want to buy.

I can't imagine there would be a difference between the behavior of captive born and captive bred and born.
Nutritionally, the babies of the CB are (likely) superior at hatch and for the first few months since the egg yolks would have been made while the female was in the wild. I do no think it likely that she would breed in the exporters holding facility where she might be severely nutritionally compromised and certainly stressed. Even if she developed the yolks after import and produced babies from retained sperm, she would be drawing on a body that had a lot of reserves in things like Vitamin A that our captive animals do not have. The amount of Vitamin A in the eggs of wild chameleons (can't remember the species used in the study) declines as breeding season progresses and more clutches are laid. If behavior is affected by nutritional status, I think the difference would be negligible.
